Raphaël Conz

Raphaël CONZ is Member of the Board of Directors of the Office for Economic Affairs and Innovation (SPEI), responsible for the economic development policy of the State of Vaud, including the innovation and entrepreneurship support as well as the financial and tax incentives dedicated to Vaud-based companies. Previously, he held different positions in the field of economic development as well as in the private sector. Raphaël Conz is currently member of different boards of associations and foundations supporting SMEs and startups.


Thierry Weber

Thierry is Founding Partner and CEO of Vivactis Switzerland @Biopole, as well as Partner of Vivactis Group. Holding a doctorate and degree in medicine, he worked as a physician in various hospitals. He then had the opportunity to join the pharmaceutical industry, before moving on to the medtech sector, where he held various positions in medical marketing and eMarketing. He presently lives in Switzerland, in the “Health Valley” area, a renowned international hub in the life sciences sector, where he frequently acts as advisor for start-ups and SMEs from this sector. He’s passionate about innovation in life sciences, scientific communication, medical marketing, digital medical education (using innovative technologies) and digital health. As a side activity, Thierry is lecturer at Lausanne University Business School (HEC UNIL), in charge of the “Healthcare Strategy and Marketing” module of the Healthcare Focus, as well as lecturer on the UNIL-EPFL CAS in life science product management.


Tim Goethals

Educated in Business Administration and Economics, and after an early career in financial consulting at Ernst & Young, Tim has 10 + years of experience in the sports industry and the Olympic Movement. Tim holds a master’s degree in sports management, having completed the FIFA Masters in 2005. Most recently he worked at the Association of Summer Olympic Sports Federations (ASOIF) where he was Head of Administration and Projects. He played a major role in the development and expansion of ASOIF and oversaw the establishment of several technology-based solutions. The processes and working systems he established, laid the foundations for ASOIF’s future work through projects such as the development of the Olympic Games issue-tracking system and the ongoing IF Data Project. Tim also has a solid experience in event management, having worked in 2006 for the FIFA World Cup in event IT as well as having been Head of Operations for SportAccord Convention from 2007 to 2010.
