Connecting the Vaud space ecosystem with the world 🚀

September 18, 2026

Lausanne Montreux Congress, through the Space Cities Network, was proud to be part of the Vaud delegation representing Switzerland’s space ecosystem at the International Space Summit, held at the Grand Palais in Paris on 9–10 September 2026.

Founded by LMC alongside Houston, Christchurch and Abu Dhabi, the Space Cities Network brings together cities and their space ecosystems to foster international collaboration, connect key stakeholders and explore opportunities for future partnerships and business events.

🛰️ The Summit provided a valuable opportunity to build new connections, develop partnerships and strengthen relationships with stakeholders across the space sector, from companies, federations and associations to government agencies, economic development organisations and startups.

Together with Innovaud and its director Patrick Barbey, SXS- Space Exchange Switzerland and our Ambassador Grégoire Bourban, EPFL represented by Stéphane Dufour, and Laure Coussot from Etat de Vaud, LMC helped showcase the economic identity of our region and the strength of its institutional, academic and business ecosystem.

Through the Space Cities Network (SCN), we seek to connect cities and their respective space ecosystems, foster international collaboration and create opportunities for knowledge sharing, partnerships and business events. It also provides a platform to highlight the expertise and potential of our region and its key stakeholders on the international stage.

A valuable opportunity to represent our region, connect with international stakeholders and explore new avenues for collaboration. 🌍
