From 9–12 June 2027, Lausanne will host the 47th Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC), taking place across IMD and EPFL (SwissTech Convention Center).
Led by Sophie Bacq from IMD and our Ambassador Marc Gruber from EPFL, BCERC is considered by many to be one of the world’s leading conferences in entrepreneurship research.
Each year, the conference brings together more than 300 scholars from around the world, with over 220 papers presented. It offers a unique platform where academics and practitioners come together through lively exchange, connecting research, theory and real-world entrepreneurial practice.
But this edition has an even more special dimension.
IMD and EPFL are two internationally renowned institutions, each bringing its own expertise, community and perspective. Bringing them together around a conference of this scale creates new connections between disciplines, researchers and networks, while showcasing the strength and diversity of Lausanne’s academic and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
